Pluto, an online television service, broadcasts over 75 live channels. Pluto TV offers many on-demand TV shows.
The question that is most important is how do you activate Pluto TV. First, it is worth noting that activating Pluto TV does not cost anything.
This means you do not have to pay anything for the activation process. Pluto TV also works with Chromecast, Smart TV, and the PS4. Activation for these devices may differ slightly.
How to activate Pluto TV
Follow the steps below to activate your Pluto TV account.
Roku
Roku allows you to easily complete the Pluto TV activation. Just prepare your device to be activated and follow these steps.
- Connect your power cables to your Roku. If necessary, complete the initial setup.
- The channel activation code of Pluto TV is listed below.
- To cast the Pluto television screen, choose the cast screen option. To cast the Pluto TV screen, go to Settings.
- An activation key will be asked. To complete activation, enter code as shown in Step 2.
- You will need to choose the Roku streaming name and then activate the device.
Smart TV
The steps of activation for Smart TVs are the same across all brands. These are the steps.
- Install Pluto TV onto your smart TV.
- Start the guide
- Go to channel 02. You can also click the activate button. It is located on Pluto's left side.
- On the screen, a six-digit activation number for Pluto TV will be displayed.
- Navigate to the activate page in the My Pluto application on your computer and mobile device. To activate Pluto, your Smart TV's smart TV, sign in using Pluto.tv/activate.
- The activation process for other devices like Amazon Firestick is the same. Just go to channel 2 on the guide.

After entering the code, Pluto TV will be successfully activated on your device.
Pluto TV also allows users the ability to unpair the device when it isn't in use. To access My Pluto, open the Pluto TV app.
Click on Activate. Tap x in order to unpair the phone. This will link your smartphone to the other Pluto TV device.
